The artist Roland Oberholzner was born in Salzburg and lives and works there as a painter and art restorer. It might have been the artistic talent of his grandfather, which gave Roland a good understanding of artistic work and aesthetics from early on and made him devoting his life path to arts and crafts. Roland attended a ocational school for textile design and then completed training as an art restorer and gilder. In addition to his professional work, however, he felt a strong desire to stand in front of a blank canvas himself and use his talent as a painter. So he studied painting with Prof Franz Tengg and since then works as an artist in Salzburg. Today, Roland has a wide and diverse repertoire of artworks which is presented at international exhibitions.
